Tips on travelling, how to get most out of your travels

You can hire a three wheeler taxi relatively inexpensive in Thailand to tour the city at midnight.

I took the tastiest fried rice at a Bangkok seafood restaurant. At S$8 with their homegrown prawns and very sweet orange juices. Some belts and silk goods is worth buying.

Hong Kong at night(photo). Hong Kong mass rapid transit even at midnight it were overflow with travellers. Hong Kong never sleep.

I prefers to travel with tour groups because they took care of the logistics and admin. The got discount of air tickets, hotels and foods.

If I want to stay longer in one place I would venture on my own at night after the end of the day itineraries.

In Japan I walk a record of 6.5 hours non-stop in Tokyo on my own. Unfortunately my roll of films were not properly put in the camera, so all the 36 photos which I took were spoilt.

After 6.5 of walking throughout Tokyo I got lost. When I asked for directions of my hotels, a kind person drove me back to the hotel.

At the China tour I prefer to stay extra days in Hong Kong and asked for our tour ticket to go back on our own. Fortunately it turn out to be a right move.

The extra day at Hong Kong I walk the cities until after midnight. There foods at the alley were very tasty my best indulgence were the beef soups, tipping some chillies oil inside the soup.

A member of the tour group ask his relative to bring us around Guangzhou to eat among the best tim sum. Even at midnight it was overflow with customers. The place never sleep even at midnight it were bustling with activities.

Even at midnight the Hong Kong MRT were fully loaded.

Cool countries need to prepare for windbreaker, gloves and thick clothing when you go there in winter etc.

In Europe a doctor and his wife half way drop off the itineraries and join us back at the end of the tour.

In Thailand when I touch down at might I when around the cities for few before I went back to sleep and wake up in the morning.

The best part is after hours of walking. Went back to the hotel turn on the long bathtub warm water. Submerge in it for half an hour to ease my fatigue.

Give generous tips, when you ask the tour manager to bring you to some unusual or interesting places, which is not in the tour itineraries.

Palau Ubin holiday resort

After our group tour back from China, we contact each other to share our travel photos. On and off we came out for some meals li like steamboat.

We decided to overnight at P. Ubin. The There are only 4 units of terrace houses for rent at Ubin and only an insider can rent it. So imagine the difficulties in renting it.

As there are 4 units in the whole island for holiday maker so it is very exclusive. I always like to go to some pristine place to enjoy the beautiful sunrise, sunset and the moon.

There are barbecue facilities and air conditioners. We decided to cook some noodles. I show them the secrets of cooking tasty noodles. The secrets lies in the fried shallots oil and the fried shallots. As I had work as a hawker and do the cooking for my mother.

The holiday resort were near the beach so at night we can enjoy the nice sea breeze at the beach and do some barbecue. Visitors use to go there to rent the bicycles to enjoy the nature and biodiversities.

Two persons who are the relatives of a tour group members where invited to join us. They had brought us to a tim sum restaurant at Guangzhou, even at midnight it was overflown with customers.

I had taken among the tastiest tim sum there, there were huge varieties of tim sum for us to choose.

Tourist attractions-The natural undersea world

I had an idea is to built a natural undersea coral reef to attract tourists. Lots of people like to watch what happen to the undersea world. It's troublesome to wear all those scuba gears to explore the undersea.

Some of them will to pay millions to see the space.

So my ideas was to build a state of art, world class resort that features what happen at the sea bed.

I had always fascinated with coral reefs, because they are very colourful and lively.

I think lots of people like to experiences the natural environment of coral reefs without scuba dive to experience it.

I think if we make one very unique natural coral reef experience. Where large crowds doesn't need to put on scuba gears to scuba dive to see the reef. It will be very exciting. It might be the only one in the world.

Find ways to make visitors able to see the coral reef naturally.

The areas to have some wooden houses decorate will flowers for tourists to enjoy the natural surroundings.

Maybe we should build kelongs with special glass that we can go down to the bottom of the seas and watch the coral reefs. Some of my unforgetable experiences staying at the kelong

Combine at these together to make the most memorable experiences.

These special undersea transparent glass structure are to be build like the bullet proof glass of armour vehicles. Children likes to watch the amazing creatures moving around.

People can watch the beautiful sunrise, sunset and the moon. See the most spectacular pictures of sunrise and sunset:http://henryleonghw.blogspot.com

As we had the largest bird park in the world why not the largest coral reef.

My ideas, experiences and visions

This blog is about my ideas and views.

I was born very poor my father died when I was very young about 5 years old. So my mother got to feed 6 mouths. Frequently we need to eat plain rice with dark soya sauce only.

So we go to pick empty cans to sell and lived on social welfare. My father died of illness. My 3 sisters and mother suffering from serious karmic illnesses.

Usually from morning until night I went out to play, and at the stream behind our tiny Housing and Development flat. If my mother locked the door I will climb down from the window from second floor.

Because my mother got to do hawking food so she got difficulties in taking care of us.

Rowing wooden rafts up and down the canal.

I used to play at the water canal behind my flat from morning until night.

Like was fun we would play soccer from morning until night. At night we would go to the community centre to play at the basketball court.
